Colbert Report: During an interview on Comedy Central's "Colbert Report", former Republican presidential candidate Pat Buchanan compared the Iraq war to World War II. Buchanan, who was promoting his new book, said that both wars could have been avoided, and that Germany and Iraq "did not threaten the United States." Buchanan went on to say that he "does not believe a war with Iran is necessary", and disagrees with John McCain about meeting with Iran, saying "we outta talk to the Iranians."
