Talks With Iran While The U.S. Expands Military Presence In Region

The U.S. and Israel launched a war against Iran over three weeks ago and now President Donald Trump has indicated that the White House is engaging in talks with Iran. The President said the talks would continue during the week and that he had ordered the War Department to postpone attacks against energy infrastructure in Iran for five days. Meanwhile, there are reports that the Pentagon is preparing to deploy more troops from the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East, adding to the thousands troops already headed to the region to assist with operations in Iran. FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with James Robbins, Dean for Academic Affairs in the Institute of World Politics, who says plans for military operations against Iran have been discussed for quite some time.
