Tamana Noory - Biologics Safety Scientist (November 16, 2019)

Tamana Noory is Biologics Associate Manager at Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation. She received her BS in Bio and my MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Tamana’s job duties and responsibilities include ensuring the safety in composing the drug substance and drug products for Novartis' Biologics drugs; warranting appropriate manufacturing of the drug, its product characteristics, and product testing in order to confirm that the product is safe, effective and consistent between batches. This all falls under the CMC (chemistry, manufacturing and controls) section in a BLA, NDA, or IND (different drug approval packages presented to the FDA before approval into the market). This section helps maintain the connection in quality between the drug used in clinical studies and the marketed drug as long as it's marketed.
