Tameka Fryer Brown and Crystal Allen - African American Children’s Book Fair

Dr. Aaron Smith is joined by picture book author Tameka Fryer Brown and Crystall Allen of the Brown Bookshelf, an organization and website dedicated to promoting awareness of Black children's book creators and African American voices in literature. Their initive "28 Days Later" showcases i the work of authors and illustrators, fostering a greater appreciation for diverse children's literature at the 34th Annual African American Children’s Book Fair, celebrating black children’s literature, literacy, and legacy.
