Tammy Featherstone / Trauma-Informed Certified Life and Wellness Coach

from Law Enforcement Life Coach / Sometimes Heroes Need Help Podcast · host John Kelly

This week I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Tammy Featherstone, a friend and long time advocate for all things to do with first responder wellness and empowerment. Tammy is a former EMT, and LEO, that has transitioned into a  Trauma informed Life and Wellness Coach for the first responder community, specifically focusing on the needs of our female first responders. The importance of you doing something different  if you expect real change to occur was one of many great take-away's for our conversation. Some strategies and techniques were also discussed. Tammy brings us through her "why" and how that has evolved over the years without ever loosing the commitment of care and service to others. Sit back and give this episode a listen and come away better for it, Until next week, take care of yourselves and each other, God Bless, Johnhttp://[email protected]://www.linkedin.com/in/tammyfeatherstone/More about Tammy:Most of my young life was spent showing up other than my true self. I had to be the best, work the hardest, and have the most. I never "needed" anything. Working in the Emergency Medical field and then Law Enforcement, I truly loved giving back to the community. After almost 30 years of service in those areas, I found myself wanting more. I had lost my "why". Two beautiful human beings (a Life and Executive Coach) encouraged me through the difficult task of deciding my future. Without them, I may still be spinning my wheels in a job that no longer aligned with my purpose. Their commitment to me was so powerful. Now I am here, at this very point, and paying it forward. My commitment is to work with women and help them re-imagine and reframe their lives. Through a self-empowerment approach, you will learn to trust and listen to your needs, put them into action and create the life YOU want to live!Thank you for taking the time to give this podcast a listen.
