The temptation to think that we can only be generous if we have plenty is a subtle one. Jesus said that if we cannot be faithful with little, we cannot be faithful with much. God who gives us everything we have expects us to glorify him in the little or the much we have. Like the widow of Zeraphath who only had one remaining meal but shared with Elijah, be generous with your meagre resources, and you can be sure your generosity will come back to you.
