Tánaiste & Leitrim Councillor share different opinions on social media ban for under 16’s

A Leitrim Councillor has questioned how a proposed social media ban for those under the age of 16 would work.  The comments from Sinn Fein’s Padraig Fallon come as the Tánaiste says he’s very serious about banning social media for under 16s. Opposition parties have dismissed the proposal as kite flying. The Councillor and father of teenage children says the used of social media needs to be examined, however he says imposing a ban will work  Simon Harris says he wants to work and not fight with the Opposition on this.
