Tania Tupu: Tokomanawa Queens Coach on Charlisse Leger-Walker signing for the team during the WNBA off-season

Kiwi WNBA star Charlisse Leger-Walker is returning to New Zealand’s Tauihi basketball competition. The Connecticut Sun guard will join the Wellington-based Tokomanawa Queens during the WNBA off-season, with the 12-week competition starting September 25. In April, Leger-Walker became the first New Zealander to be selected into the prestigious American competition when she was drafted as the 18th pick.
