TanKir [Journey Series]

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series! On this week's edition, we welcome @djtankir TanKir (Tanya Kiryutina) is an Atlanta-based DJ rocking a large variety of sounds on the house and trance spectrum.Throughout her life, Tanya was passionate about many forms of music. She sang since she was a baby and was raised with classical training in violin and piano. Growing up, she also performed in orchestras, choirs, and rock/metal bands. Tanya began to deeply immerse herself in electronic music in 2016. Her explorations started with trance and later expanded to include deeper sounds with minimal, melodic, progressive, ethnic, and tribal elements. In 2018 during her second semester in graduate school, she founded her Increasing Entropy podcast on SoundCloud to share her love of electronic music with the world.
