What are they? How should we respond? This short story also highlights an important dynamic of discipleship. What is it? How are you living that out in your life? What changes do you need to make The evening healings reflect on both Jesus authority (power) and sufferings. The next verses challenge our willingness to follow Jesus in his suffering. Take time this week to reflect on your own willingness. As you do so, reflect on both your 'pride' and your 'hesitation'. In both these stories, Jesus calls these two people into deeper discipleship. Likewise, Jesus is calling you. How will you respond?
