Tara Connelly is an independent sales representative from Vero Beach, Florida. She was Massachusetts Women’s Player of the Year 9 times and Massachusetts Player of the Decade from 2000-2009 before moving to Florida. Tara was awarded Florida Player of the Year in 2015 after winning both the Florida Women’s State Stroke Play Championship as well as the Florida Women’s State Mid-Amateur Championship in the same year. Tara is a two-time semifinalist (2011 and 2014) in the USGA Women’s Mid-Amateur and as part of Team Florida a Two-time Runner-Up (2013 and 2015) and Third place finisher (2017) in the now retired USGA Women’s State Team Championship. Overall, Tara has competed in 32 USGA Championships. Tara played her collegiate golf at the University of Miami and the University of South Carolina.In addition to playing the game, Tara is a Member-at-Large of the Florida State Golf Association’s Executive Committee. Tara previously served on the Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts Board of Directors.
