We just—we want to find something really good to watch, and there's so much mediocre stuff out there, it's like a jungle. You almost can't wade through it. And that—you have series after series after series debuting on Rotten Tomatoes with a 90% or 80% rating from the critics because they're all liberal, and a 60% rating from the audience. And just—I don't know about you, I mean, we check Rotten Tomatoes. I mean, if—if you're lower than 80%, we just—we can't even—we can't even be bothered. Have you noticed TV's just not as good as it was? Entertainment's not as good as it was? New study—listen to this. This could explain it. In 2011, when the market for TV writers was basically who's the best, in 2011, around 60% of TV writers were white men. Fast-forward to 2025, and that number has dwindled down to 12% from 60%. So, if you're wondering why TV and movies got so much worse anytime basically after 2010, that might shed some light on the problem. The natural state of the market's about 60% male—that doesn't mean that other people don't write fantastic stuff. They do! And they were getting jobs. 40% were not white men. White male creators, 78.9%. In other words, that 12% that, despite the racism and the sexism, is still allowed to write—God bless—can you imagine the absolute creative geniuses of this generation whose names you won't know, whose series you won't see? That is a massive loss for America and our society due to woke, uh, you know, DEI racism. Again, top streaming series, most popular by hits and clicks per UCLA: white creators, 91.7%. When they isolate them out by popularity, documentable popularity—not ratings—white creators produced 91.7% of them and white males did 78%, and yet only 12% of those writing are white males. It was 60% in 2011. Can you see, can you feel the malaise, the crap that TV has become? That's why. The best aren't allowed to write. I wonder where they are. I actually read an article about one of them; he completely gave up and went into another, uh, part of the tech industry. Just—there's no point. He was white, he was male, he was straight; he was not going to be working in Hollywood. It's so sad. But that's it, if you're like me—remember that Bruce Springsteen song, "57 Channels (And Nothin' On)"? Yeah. That—I mean, that's it! It is exasperating! There's so much stuff! And sometimes good series get buried. But we need to fix this. And folks, this explains why you're watching Democrat attorneys general fight so hard against that Paramount merger with Warner Brothers. Why? One reason: Skydance Media CEO David Ellison and his father, billionaire Larry Ellison—Larry Ellison's a prominent, long-time Republican donor and ally of Donald Trump, okay—so they would now control 33% of basically your entertainment, some of the news, too. Democrats are horrified at the idea that normal white males will begin writing again, will be allowed to write again, and they're going to write normal things that will appeal to normal, non-woke people! And Democrats will lose control of the culture. But if you're wondering why TV sucks, and if you're like me and my husband, who are like, "Wow, this TV sucks, we can't find anything good to watch, and there's a gazillion things on," that's why. The best are not allowed to write in America anymore because of the color of their skin and the gender they were born in.
