WTMJ host Steve Scaffidi was joined on the phone by National Review writer Christian Schneider, and they began by discussing the ongoing effects of tariffs on Americans, the United States’ allies and the markets. -Steve asks Christian about his recent article accusing Trump of mistaking strength for weakness. -Steve and Christian discussed the generational factor in Christain’s latest piece Steve Scaffidi was next joined in-studio by Urban Milwaukee president Jeramey Jannene to discuss the latest on Milwaukee Public Schools, lead paint contamination. -There is a set of buildings on 6th and Walnut in Milwaukee that has historic significance for being built by a black architect and used by black businesses. The Salvation Army recently wanted to tear it down for a homeless shelter. Jeramey and Steve discuss whether those buildings should be preserved. Fellow WTMJ host Kristin Brey joined Steve to talk about their “You Need to Listen” podcast and their latest topic on relationships and politics.
