In 2016, Khalid moved to California, where he continued his craft, eventually establishing a workshop at LA's Original Farmers Market. Known as the "Cobbler of LA," Khalid has garnered a significant following on social media, sharing his passion for leatherwork and traditional craftsmanship. His unique designs, inspired by Moroccan heritage, include custom sandals, shoes, bags, belts and wallets.
