Taste The Music Podcast #18 - Mo Cream
from Strona B · host tastethemusic
Hey there! Welcome to a new episode of the Taste the Music podcast. As always, I'm here this Monday with a fresh dose of house music and all its flavors. Don’t forget to leave a like, drop a comment, and follow us on social media to stay connected. I’m especially excited about today’s episode because we’re featuring one of my favorite producers at the moment. Please give a big welcome to Mo Cream! MO’CREAM aka WORKIN’ HAPPILY Filippo Alessandro Serra | Label Owner – Creamo Music Filippo Alessandro Serra, known in the music scene as Mo’Cream or Workin’ Happily, is an Italian producer and DJ whose work has resonated across the house music landscape for over three decades. Friends simply call him Sandro. He began his career in the early 1990s, releasing his first house productions under the alias Workin’ Happily, including his debut double album “Make My Move” (1993). It didn’t take long for his tracks “Better Things” and “Feel It”—remixed by Chicago house legend Cajmere—to become genre-defining classics, played by top DJs around the world. During this period, he collaborated with renowned artists like Murk, Kerri Chandler, Michele Chiavarini, and others. After taking a break from the music industry, Sandro returned in 2020 under the moniker Mo’Cream, focusing primarily on deep house. His productions quickly gained international recognition. Tracks like “Drop It” (No Fuss Records), “So Deep” (iRecords), and “On You” (Large Music) cemented his status as one of the most respected producers in the genre. In 2021, he launched his own label, Creamo Music—a home for his own releases and a platform to support emerging artists and collaborators. Tracks like “Feel This Way” and “Do That Thang” have been among the label’s most celebrated releases. Sandro has been DJing since 1990. He started out playing in clubs, often accompanied by his trusty AKAI sampler. Fascinated by studio production, he soon dedicated himself fully to creating house music—at a time when producing in Italy was costly, technically demanding, but deeply inspiring. Today, Mo’Cream’s music has been released on a wide range of respected labels, including: No Fuss Records, Large Music, iRecords, Cajual Records, Madhouse Records, Soulstar Records, King Street Sounds, Quantize Records, Puro Music, Unquantize, Moiss Music, Creamo Music, 84Bit Music, Plastic People, UMM, and many more.
