Will you lose a lot of money like you will when day trading, trading penny stocks or with forex? No. But will likely not make money either. Tom Sosnoff from Tastytrade encourages his followers to keep negative delta (bet on the market falling). Also, he encourages his followers to scalp futures. Additionally, by scanning based on IVR, that still doesn't mean that the underlying deserves to be in your watch list.
