TATTOO TRIBUTE
from Steve Low Hosted by Steve Low
Tattoo Tribute Been a long time since you put that mark on your skin A black n ink gesture faded and oh so thin When you did that thing – my heart was pounding my chest I felt we were forever – I was drunk on a love obsessed Yes it’s been a long time now and our bond is torn tissue Yes it’s been a long time now Since you showed your tattoo tribute Since you showed your tattoo tribute Why’d you do that arty thing – don’t make any sense right now Cause you became a blue shadow walking with eyes cast down When you made your mark – I guess it was your stage show You thrilled your friends - so zany whacky and stoned Now you’re on your phone – and I got the silent scream Those days of the gesture – buried in the grave of dreams
