Tattoos

This week on Dungeon Deep Dive we talk about all things tattoos and fantasy! We want to stress up top that this episode IS permanent, so consider what that would be like in 30 years before you listen. To help ensure that you understand tattoos and how they have been used, Danäe explains some of the vast and fascinating history of tattoos in the real world and the ever-shifting attitudes towards them. Tully then explores some of the most intense historical techniques for creating tattoos and body modifications. Finally, after going through some of the most important things to consider as a DM or writer wanting to include tattoos in your setting, we discuss a quest centered on tattoos and the spiritual power many believe tattoos possess or represent.
