Tattoos and Privacy

from Marriage Unhindered · host Relevant Radio

Doug shares an email from a listener who is struggling in her marriage due to lies about past partners. Doug shares the importance of forgiveness, confession and therapy to help heal the marriage. Doug unpacks two case studies on tattoos and privacy, asking for the listeners to call in and give their advice on what to do in each situation. Doug gives his advice on tattoos and privacy in marriage. Listener questions and comments: Rose – About the woman and tattoos: Her husband could've been kinder. She should consider what he's saying to her. On another scenario, he needs to have a conversation with her. Frank – When it comes to privacy, there should be give and take in the relationship. Tony – When it comes to privacy, I think there may be a past history of a wound in that marriage. Tim – About tattoos: The husband knew when he married his wife that she had a thing for tattoos. She already had seven. It's kind of on him unless they came to an agreement that he didn't like tattoos. Marcela – I don't have tattoos, I don't like them, and one of my co-workers saw that I have a divine mercy medal and he showed me on his arm his divine mercy tattoo on it and other arm had Our Lady of Guadalupe. Robert – People get tattoos for different reasons and there can be a little evil with tattoos. The ink can be tainted. Alex – Ink from tattoos is known to be associated with the demonic and sometimes there needs to be a prayer of deliverance. Marcel – You want to be transparent, but there is a level of privacy too.
