On this interview special, Managing Editor Michael speaks with Ryan Walters, the founder of KLeagueUnited, a site dedicated to covering the K League. Over the past five years, the site has grown exponentially and Ryan shares about how he and his colleagues have gotten the opportunity to work with the K League in an official capacity. During the COVID19 pandemic, Ryan has been able to cover the K League as the league was first to resume after delaying the beginning of the season in February. Ryan details the safety precautions being taken in Korea and how he and the players feel about the league playing before empty stadiums as fans stay home during the pandemic. Finally, Ryan gives his thoughts on the current K League season and gives his thoughts on the title race, ACL spots, and promotion challengers. To finish, Michael recommends a show to give Ryan some nostalgia for Chicago and then Ryan shares his recent Netflix favorite.
