Tax and Housing Help for Millennials & Gen Z

Emily Greene, State Director for Americans for Prosperity joins Jerry and Rose to discuss The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). Key provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 are set to expire this year. How this will affect family’s federal bill, and income taxes. The provisions need to be protected in the new Congress. On Housing: Zoning laws prevent new builds and availability which drives up cost of housing. We need to promote legislation in State Capitols that addresses this issue. On the brain drain: According to Census data, some states like Pennsylvania have populations declining and fall victim to the brain drain. 20-30 year olds leaving some states for greener pastures. These issues should lead into a greater conversation around policies that will allow Millennials & Generation Z to thrive.
