Tax Collector & Transfiguration

The Feast of the Transfiguration reminds us that, like Christ’s glory was revealed on the mountain, we too can be transformed when we truly hear and respond to His call. Like Matthew, we are called to listen to the Lord, believe in His call, leave behind our sinful ways, take up our cross and follow Him, and finally bring others with us rather than following Christ alone.
