Presenters: John and Noman Topic: Films In this show, adult English language students in GO2 class talk about films. John (South Korea) and Noman (Libya) chose the topic and prepared the questions. They introduce the show and interview their classmates. We hear interviews with: Ghanem (Qatar) Alessandro (Italy) Kyung (South Korea) Yan (China) Joonbum (South Korea) Jiemin (South Korea) Interview questions (If you are listening in class, you could ask a partner the interview questions, then choose one or more of the speakers and note their answers.) 1. What kind of films do you like? 2. How often do you go to the cinema? 3. Could you tell me what's the best film you've ever seen? 4. Who is your favourite actor, actress or director? 5. Could you tell me one reason why you like films? 6. What is the last film you have seen? What did you think of it? This show was recorded in class, on group teacher, Geoff's, Apple MacBook Pro computer with the program Garageband. The Garageband jingle used is Piano Ballad. After editing in Garageband and Audacity (for noise removal and deletion of unnecessary silence), the audio volume was levelled using the program Levelator (www.gigavox.com/levelator), and the file was converted to MP3 format using Switch Audio File Converter (http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html). The photo was edited in Apple iPhoto and Adobe Fireworks. This show was produced at the Bardwell Road Adult Centre, St Clare's, Oxford, UK.
