Presenters: Joon Bum and Bin Yao Topic: Food In this show, adult English language students in GO2 class talk about food. Joon Bum (South Korea) and Bin Yao (China) chose the topic and prepared the questions. They introduce the show and interview their classmates. We hear interviews with: Alessandro (Italy) Ghanem (Qatar) Jiemin (South Korea) Noman (Libya) John (South Korea) Interview questions (If you are listening in class, you could ask a partner the interview questions, then choose one or more of the speakers and note their answers.) 1. What is your favourite kind of food? 2. Have you ever eaten any strange food? (What?) 3. What food is typical in your country? 4. Are you good at cooking? (For example?) 5. Would you recommend some food for me? This show was recorded in class, on group teacher, Geoff's, Apple MacBook Pro computer with the program Garageband. The Garageband jingle used is Buddy. After editing in Garageband and Audacity (for noise removal and deletion of unnecessary silence), the audio volume was levelled using the program Levelator (www.gigavox.com/levelator), and the file was converted to MP3 format using Switch Audio File Converter (http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html).
