TBRCP115 - GO2 students talk about drinking alcohol

Presenters: Kyung and Jiemin Topic: Drinking alcohol In this show, adult English language students in GO2 class talk about drinking alcohol. Jiemin and Kyung (both from South Korea) chose the topic and prepared the questions. They introduce the show and interview their classmates. We hear interviews with: Alex (Italy) Joon Bum (South Korea) Bin Yao (China) John (South Korea) Ghanem (Qatar) Interview questions (If you are listening in class, you could ask a partner the interview questions, then choose one or more of the speakers and note their answers.) 1. Have you ever drunk alcohol before? 2. Do you like drinking alcohol? (If not, could you tell me your opinion?) 3. What kind of alcohol do you like? 4. What do you think of drinking? (Advantages? Disadvantages?) 5. Have you got any funny or interesting memories of when you or your friends were drunk? This show was recorded in class, on group teacher, Geoff's, Apple MacBook Pro computer with the program Garageband. The Garageband jingle used is Motocross. After editing in Garageband and Audacity (for noise removal and deletion of unnecessary silence), the audio volume was levelled using the program Levelator (www.gigavox.com/levelator), and the file was converted to MP3 format using Switch Audio File Converter (http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html).
