TBRCP122 - GO3 students talk about ideal people

Presenters: Ana and Gabriella Topic: Ideal people In this show, adult English language students in GO3 class talk about ideal people. Gabriella from Italy and Ana from Spain chose the topic and prepared the questions (with the teacher's help). They introduce the show and interview their classmates. We hear interviews with: Estel (Spain) Serif (Turkey) Micky (Hong Kong) Medyan (Jordan) Interview questions (If you are listening in class, you could ask a partner the interview questions, then choose one or more of the speakers and note their answers.) 1. How would you describe your ideal girl / boyfriend or romantic partner? (Describe him / her.) 2. Tell me about your best friend. Describe their personality. 3. Can you describe your own personality? 4. Are romantic relationships between English people different to your own country? How? 5. When you meet a member of the opposite sex, what is the first thing you notice? 6. If you want to chat somebody up, what do you say or do? 7. Can you tell us about your funniest or most romantic experience (love story)? 8. If you don't want to talk to a person, what excuse do you make up? 9. If you could have dinner with Angelina Jolie / Brad Pitt, what is the first topic you would talk about? 10. In your country, how do you say: "You are very beautiful / handsome"? This show was recorded in class, on group teacher, Geoff's, Apple MacBook Pro computer with the program Garageband. The Garageband jingle used is Roll Credits. After editing in Garageband and Audacity (for noise removal and deletion of unnecessary silence), the audio volume was levelled using the program Levelator (www.gigavox.com/levelator), and the file was converted to MP3 format.
