Vincent van Kleef is an Amerstdam-based photographer who used the social-networking power of Facebook to solicit the participation of people in his community. His portrait series provided me not only subjects for his photography but also allowed him to reveal the personalities and stories of the city's inhabitants. The project has garnered the attention of press by locally and abroad and is helping to spur increased interest in his photography.
