TCNW 624: Frank E. Myers is NOT Mr. Schwamp

Host: Allan Newsome Running time: 0:30:21 Late this past week an online "news" site posted a story claiming to identify the "true" identity of Mr. Schwamp. My darling person, Jan "Mrs. Weaver" Newsome, found the story and went straight to work trying to debunk it as being fake. I joined in the search for the truth and I can say that the published story is wrong. So, we're going to try to "nip it in the bud" before Mayberry fans everywhere begin to believe the bad reporting. Frank E. Myers, the production manager for The Andy Griffith Show, is NOT Mr. Schwamp nor is he (as the story claimed) Danny Thomas' brother. I have evidence to prove my reporting which was not really all that hard to find so I would not trust the website that carried the story (I'm not linking to them in the links below because they don't deserve a link to a story that's so wrong).
