The area where it's located is very likely where the name Mayberry came from. Things nearby like Mayberry Creek sure makes it seem like the Mayberry Trading Post is located in the real Mayberry. We're fortunate this week to have Phil Barnard as a guest. Phil's family has a wonderful connection to the Trading Post and has some great history to share with us. We also have a visit from roaming reporter Randy Turner with information about the Mayberry Trading Post. This is a great episode with information you'll never find anywhere else.
