Mayberry Days is held in Mt. Airy, NC (Andy's hometown) the last full weekend of September each year and Col. Tim's is the wrap-up of the main portion of Mayberry Days. Col. Tim's is something you almost need to experience to understand but I would say it's kind of a "Who's Line is it Anyway?" type of performance with random things happening throughout. It always sells out so I believe it's good enough to keep folks coming back year after year and it's always a different show. This episode we experience "Count Istvan Teleky" with Tim Pettigrew as Goober, Terry Varvel as Barney and Allan Newsome (me) as Floyd. The trio re-create the scene of the three in the backroom of the Mayberry courthouse conjuring "the Count" and making wishes.
