TCU Lands Scoring Latvian Guard

TCU just landed a European scoring machine—six-foot-six Latvian guard Ricards Aizpurs, who’s already averaging over 33 points per game in Italy’s U17 league and dominated FIBA U16 EuroBasket. At just 16, he played up with U18 squads and still dropped nearly 19 points a game. Now committed for 2026-27, he joins Luke Bamgboye and Gavin Sykes in a rising TCU class built for global impact. His maturity, international experience, and ability to thrive against older competition make him a perfect fit—and a major boost for the Horned Frogs’ future.
