On April 14th, TCU women's basketball had a massive night at the 2026 WNBA draft, sending three players to the league. Capping it off, redshirt senior guard Taylor Bigby got picked 37th overall by the Portland Fire in the third round, then traded right away to the Connecticut Sun in a deal with Sarah Williams. Bigby lit it up in her final season with the Horned Frogs, averaging 8.2 points per game and hitting 38.9% from three-point range. She played every one of their 38 games, helping TCU post a 32-6 record and reach the Elite Eight for the second year running.
Her journey started at Oregon for one season. Then she transferred to USC where she suited up for 65 games and started 18. That experience sharpened her game before landing at TCU for two years and 76 total appearances. In her last year, she shot a career-best 44.1% from the floor, key to snagging the Big 12 title.
Over six college seasons, Bigby played in 150 games, building a solid foundation for pro ball. What a close to a stellar Horned Frogs era. TCU's program is stacking wins on and off the court now.
