Te Haunui Tuna | Wānanga NFT

from Pū Kōrero · host Te Rawhitiroa Bosch

I’m stoked to be having a wānanga with my super talented, skilled and amazing bro Te Haunui not only because he’s my bro, but because he’s the one who first introduced me to what an NFT is and I was there when he sold his very first NFTs from his Kaupapa @graffgrems at a Tombheads Discord Auction. Te Haunui is a multi talented artist who has the Midas touch. He is an epic moko artist, digital illustrator, painter, sketcher, and 3D sculptor. He has taken a massive leap into the NFT blockchain space with his Kaupapa @graffgrems which helps weave his loves for art, for community, for pop culture and video games. During our wānanga we’ll cover: - how he got into NFTs, some of the highlights and major learnings. - how he stepped into creating a project and the process from conception to execution and now continuation of the project now and into the future. - how he sees the NFT space playing a part in our future as artists and specifically as Māori artists. - what sort of things we can think about if we are going down the path of creating projects or investing in projects of this sort. Again the intention is to get an insight into the back end of a real project, run by real Māori, with real community and future aspirations. It’s a way for us all to learn from the experiences of our mates and whānau and to all grow and rise together.
