Welcome to TEA with Halo... and today's guest Danny DaVoid! In this episode of season 4 I am joined by an old friend, Danny, retired psychonaut, former monk, and devoted fool who asks how we can be present in CLOWN, both sacred and profane. We explore art as magic, street theatre as re-enchantment of place, reincarnation, and learning how to turn laughter into a gift.Danny is a retired psychonaut and former monk graced in the practices of Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga,. A devotee of Mother in the form of Kali and fool initiated by the great troop of tricksters Divine Ridiculous. They play with the tarot as a pantheon of spirits and are frequently humbled by their own shadow. My current body of work continues the exploration of Gnostic theater performances of the Major Arcana, using them to reclaim sites of power within the city. It’s called Topography of Tarot. My last performance piece was Le Maison Dieu (The Tower), a masked performance in front of the TV Tower in Berlin.Find Danny DaVoid on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the_faceless_monk/ Find your host, Halo Quin: https://www.haloquin.netJoin us in The Enchanted Academy Community for monthly magical Circles, conversation, community, and more: https://the-enchanted-academy.mn.co/
