For patience. MEDITATION AND THOUGHT (v. 8-15) • FORGIVE THAT KID • If you have confessed your sins, God has forgiven you and forgotten your sins. • David understands that he has not "arrived." • Teach me to live by faith, teach me not to worry, teach me how great you are. • Don't rush. • Attitude of the Heart and the Anticipated Blessings ○ Humility (v. 9) // God will lead and teach you ○ Obedience (v. 10) // Paths of steadfast love and faithfulness ○ Reverence (v. 12,14) // Godly instruction and friendship• If you are obedient to God's Word, it's not possible for you to walk down an unfavorable road. “There shall be mercy in every unsavory morsel and faithfulness in every bitter drop.” - Charles Spurgeon• If you fear the Lord, God will instruct you in His ways. • The word "friendship" can also be translated to "secret counsel."• The secret counsel needs to align with God's Word. CLOSING PRAYER (16-22)• David shares his many problems with the Lord. But he doesn't complain once. • (v. 18) Do we still ask God to forgive us of our sins?• Some Christians want to keep their options for sin open. • (v. 21) These are your life preservers. Integrity and Uprightness. Life Group Questions1. What was your biggest take-away from Psalm 25?2. What has God been teaching you in his classroom this semester? 3.
