Teacher Accused of Inappropriate Conduct | Miami News

A shocking scandal is unfolding in Southwest Miami-Dade, where a 53-year-old teacher at Sunset Park Elementary, Cesar Oriol Cardoso, has been arrested on serious allegations of showing students explicit material and inappropriate touching. Multiple students came forward in April, reporting that Cardoso pulled them from class to show them graphic images—including nude photos of himself—and attempted to touch them inappropriately on arms, thighs, and buttocks. One student even recalled telling him to stop. Cardoso was taken into custody without incident after an interview with detectives and is now held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. The investigation continues as the school district works closely with law enforcement to protect students and ensure accountability.
