Teacher as Story Teller

Meet Emily Watts, a young teacher who has recently completed her first year in a Steiner Class Teacher cycle. In this episode she takes us inside her classroom and shares the rhythm of her day with the children. A highlight for her is telling a story every day, a unique feature of a Steiner classroom, one that transforms the role of teacher from being just a deliverer of the formal curriculum to creating a living presence in the imagination of the child.
