He later joined IBM, holding various management positions before returning to the Peace Corps as the first Country Director of Kazakhstan. Paul also served as the USAID Director of Enterprise Restructuring in Russia before returning to IBM as Asia Pacific Director of Software Developers in Jakarta, Indonesia.
