Hello friends, join me as I ramble through the considerations for teaching a friend (or group of strangers!) how to play Dungeons & Dragons. Includes history of tabletop role-playing, some personal anecdotes from DMing and mentoring friends in their first games, and a discussion of the practical needs of a D&D novice.
