Teaching False Doctrine is Not New

We’ve invented and entirely new religion and honor God with our lips but have put our own morality ahead of what Scriptures says. "The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.” Isaiah 29:13 NIV “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ Matthew 15:8-9 NIV These verses describe the evangelical church today. What are the human rules? Don’t be racist.  Don’t be antisemitic.  Jews are God’s people.  God forgives you.  Tolerance, acceptance, and diversity. God’s rules: Jews are the devil’s children. (John 8:44) Honor your ancestors. (The Fifth Commandment)   Let those who do not love Jesus Christ be accursed (1 Cor 16:22)   Do not be yoked with unbelievers or sinner: (2 Cor 6:14-17)   Sinners go to hell (Rev 21:8)
