Teaching Online 2.0: The Future is Now

Happy New Year! #VocalFam Ian Howell, Kayla Gautereaux, Chadley Ballentyne, and Joshua Glasner join Sarah and Dr. P for a VocalFri event: Teaching Online 2.0.  Our Teaching Online episode is now sorely out of date, despite being only 10 months old, so the full Distributed Music Research Team is back for the first time since their Viral Video Voice Conferencing episode in April.  In the wake of 2020 we reflect back on surprises from technological developments we've curated. We share some thoughts about Ian's "What Happens Next" essay, and we discuss our thoughts on what excites us about the possibilities for teaching, rehearsing, and performing online now and into the future.
