The series was announced in February 2024, along with the casting of David Thewlis, Blu Hunt and Dougray Scott. The series was created by Brendan Foley, who acts as executive producer alongside showrunner James Duff. Micah Wright, Shelly Goldstein, and Foley provided the scripts.Filming took place in Dublin in April 2024, with North Great George's Street being used for exterior shooting. Filming also occurred in County Wicklow.[9] Production wrapped in June.
