Team Lift Your Life: The Importance of Connection and Sharing Struggles

from Good Movement Draws Good Movement

Today’s episode is inspired by some recent events (which is typically my MO here anyway) -  community and connection. I’ve heard (more times than I can count) the saying that is ‘it’s my burden to bear’ or ‘it’s my cross to carry’, when someone is struggling. Maybe you didn’t know this (or maybe it’s just a helpful reminder), but we are NOT meant to bear our crosses alone! We  literally need connection to help us along in life. In today’s episode, I talk about what it means to ‘team lift your life’, and the importance of connection and sharing struggles. We’re supposed to ‘team lift’ and help each other when life gets hard! In this episode, I cover:Understanding that we are NOT meant to struggle and ‘bear our crosses’ aloneWhy you need to reach out to your people and community when you’re experiencing life’s challengesResources & Links:Join the waitlist for the Good Movement CollectiveGood Movement music by: Aaron EspePodcast produced by: Jill Carr PodcastingConnect with Terryn:Follow on Instagram @terryn.drielingCheck out my websiteSend me an email at [email protected] Episode: Episode 40 | Knowing When to Set a Boundary with Sheila HansenMake sure to hit subscribe/follow so you never miss an episode!Find the complete show notes here: https://terryndrieling.com/team-lift-your-life-the-importance-of-connection-and-sharing-struggles-episode-47

Jesus also references the commandments in his sermon on the mount saying, “...whoever does them [the commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Looking forward to exploring these with you!
