Team NICE in the House
from Best Friend Weekend Podcast Hosted by Best Friend Weekend
It’s Aldo’s birthday, so Team NICE is in town to celebrate. Aldo and Rog welcome Rumble Williams and Gramstar to the podcast to discuss the week that was. We began by discussing the origins of the Best Friend Weekend name (03:00), the Small Town Hall of Fame (06:00), and what does it mean to get “held back” in school (12:00). Tyrese Gibson was a major topic of discussion because of his recent real life and social media activity (14:00). We definitely touched on our favorite movies (22:00) and music from Black Ty (26:00), the Fast and the Furious franchise (29:00) and the beef with the Rock (32:00). Aldo gave his Houston apologies (35:00) and let Roger perpetuate the theory of natural disasters preceding world championships (37:00). The podcast wrapped with our updates on the NFL protest with Papa John’s and the pizza wars (42:00), the #MeToo targets of the week (55:00), and Nothing NICE to Say about the Louisiana judicial system and Diner en Blanc (1:01:00).
