In this episode, we take you to the South of France to talk with Laurene William and Irina Kondratieva of Team Swimrun Mermaids and organizers of the Mermaids Swimrun Club. Based in the South of France, Laurene and Irina are great ambassadors for the sport and work with their organization Mermaids Swimrun Club to help get more women into the sport. We talked about how they found Swimrun (and each other), why they started the Mermaids Swimrun Club, and why the South of France is a great place for Swimrunners. We also talked about their packed 2020 race season and how their mindset changed due to COVID including signing up for races at the last minute and race with gratitude.
