Tear Gas at Heathrow Terminal 3 | Belfast News

Tear gas erupted in Heathrow’s Terminal 3 car park lift, sending dozens coughing, some vomiting blood, and shutting down the terminal for hours. Four men allegedly sprayed CS gas into a lift, then followed two women from Johannesburg to a taxi rank—spraying one directly in the face. The chaos spilled into shuttle buses and trains, terrifying travelers including a barista who fell ill and a mother with her baby. Now, the suspects have pleaded guilty to affray as their defense cites remorse, trauma, and asthma. Sentencing looms as the court weighs public distress against mitigating factors.
