First, The plaintiff says she was addicted to crack and meth, so she asked the defendant to take care of her dog while she checked into rehab. Now her friend won’t return the dog, so she’s suing her. The defendant agreed to care for the dog but says the plaintiff never visited or provided financial support like she had promised. The defendant therefore feels the dog now belongs to her.  Then, The plaintiff and defendant used to be in a relationship. The plaintiff says he loaned the defendant money, but she hasn’t fully paid him back, so he’s suing for unpaid loans. The defendant argues the plaintiff is suing for more than she owes.  Plus, The plaintiff says he was driving down the street one night and saw the defendant driving erratically. He says the defendant crashed into him, so he’s suing for an insurance deductible. The defendant admits he was driving unsafely because he was looking for his girlfriend after an argument.
