Join us June 13th  7th 1PM PST/ 4PM EST “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” - Nelson Mandela! MARK WILLIAMS PINK THURSDAY FOUNDER! Pink Thursday Mark Williams, founder of Pink Thursday, is a man inspired and a man determined to make a positive difference in the world. Pink Thursday is an anti-bullying awareness initiative born out of personal experiences and the worryingly changing social & political climate. With Pink Thursday Williams hopes to inspire a global project of bullying prevention. Rising above his personal experiences with being bullied, Mark Williams embraces the words of one of his inspirations, Nelson Mandela, and applies it to his ideology. If someone can be taught to hate then they can be taught to love. In 2016, Williams began wearing a pink shirt at his place of employment. It was a silent declaration of his personal stand against bullying. Soon others would inquire about Mark’s shirt and as he shared his philosophy the Pink Thursday movement started to spread. For Williams, this is more than just about creating awareness. Mark Williams wants to change the world. As a former victim, now turned survivor and activist, Mark Williams is resolved to create a safe space where those who are being victimized and other survivors can reach out for help regardless of station, culture or background. While this is an initiative born in British Columbia, Canada, Mark Williams is determined to take Pink Thursday global. As he wears his pink shirt, shares his story and continues to inspire others one thing is for certain, the movement is definitely catching on. Mark Williams’ Pink Thursday is for everyone.
