Teatime with Miss Liz- T-E-A Open Discussion with Stacy Shewey Hands 4Life INC

from Teatime with Miss Liz · host Elizabeth Jean Olivia Gagnon

Teatime with Miss Liz joining and coming to spill the T-E-A of teaching educational awareness is the Founder/CEO of Hands 4Life Inc. Stacy Shewey March 9th, 10 Am EST LIVE SHOWS AND MULTIPLE PODCASTS STATIONS AND APPS Stacy is an entrepreneur who built a successful hospitality company where she owned and operated hotel properties, freelanced as a hotel feasibility consultant and was a consultant/investor on a 60M resort start-up. She served as an Executive Director of an assisted living and memory care community, where she gained experience in the senior living industry. She is a visionary who takes ideas and brings them to life. After being in the senior living and hospitality industry for my whole career, I felt called to take my experiences and knowledge and serve those in developing nations. We all know we are in an aging crisis in the US, but few realize we are in a global aging crisis where there is no plan to care for the vulnerable and forgotten senior population. It was with this revelation  Hands 4Life was born. In 2016, Hands 4Life Founder Stacy Shewey travelled to Haiti for a mission trip. Its purpose: to help open an assisted living facility for the elderly in need. That life-changing experience would plant the seeds from which Hands 4Life would begin to grow and flourish. Witnessing firsthand the tremendous need in the developing world for high-quality, compassionate care for the elderly, Stacy began a journey leading to the creation of Hands 4Life – the only known nonprofit missionary organization whose sole focus is caring for the elderly in developing nations. The need has never been greater. By 2050, it is projected that more than 2 billion people worldwide will be aged 60 and over. As nations worldwide struggle to prepare for this global aging crisis, developing countries are particularly at risk of lacking the adequate health, housing and other services an aging population will require. Drawing on Stacy’s experience in the assisted living industry, partnerships with established humanitarian organizations and a firm reliance on God’s word and His grace, Hands 4Life is committed to ensuring that our most vulnerable seniors live out their days in a safe, supportive and spiritually nurturing environment. https://www.h4lworld.org/ --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/misslizsteatimes/messageBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/teatime-with-miss-liz--5511005/support.
