The objective of this annual black investor survey, conducted by Ariel Investments and Schwab Bank, seeks to Identify similarities and differences between middle class Black and white Americans with regard to savings and investing, especially in stocks. For the first time, the survey includes data about crypto adoption in the Black community. The data is surprising. The analysis of the data tends toward FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt). I right size and recontextualize the data through an economic justice and empowerment lens.
